MILO,
There is at times nothing better, but more often, nothing worse than solitude. What is a holiday if it is but selfishly enjoyed and
with no one to share the memories? Now we learn who was undoubtedly holding the camera in Lavaman's postcard!
Why not check out the picture now and then come back for the description???
Both of my entries, so far, have been done exclusively in Corel Photopaint. Scanning some postcards was the original thought
taken from your entry. Then I considered trying to make a "stained glass" look to the picture by giving each postcard a black
border. This was not entirely successful, but it was at this juncture that I realized Mr. Lavaman needed a soulmate in life. Since
he had Homer Simpson-like eyes, I gave Mrs. Lavaman Marge Simpson-like hair, textured via one of Photopaints many fractal
fills. Now Mr. and Mrs. Lavaman have a page in their photo-album wholly devoted to their world travels.
I revisited your web-page for the first time in a while. Very nice additions sir! The hatch and the swamp are most excellent! I
need to pay some tender loving care to my own page! I like the "what's new" column--it made checking out the new stuff that
much easier.
I staked a claim at FortuneCity for 20 mb of free space. I altered the opening page just a bit. Gosh, I have about 40 megs of
disk server reserved now: (fortune city)20+(xoom)11+(earthlink)6+(wbs)5 or 6--I forget.!!! Now the only thing I need is time
to fill one of them with goodies! FortuneCity is always advertising on our free guestbooks. My guestbook is still, as you
mentioned, "frightfully empty." I haven't been chatting, in a while, so there hasn't been any real attempt to bring in traffic!
Well, here is looking forward toward your next entry!!!
Veederzayen--
Jim
